I’ve explained before that all the girls are light skinned in that drawing because it was for a photocopied zine where I was reduced to black and white. I actually get a lot of hate comments about what I chose to draw, but I was never claiming that those four cartoons accurately represented ALL body types, or all kinds of people. It was just a cartoon used to promote body awareness. 

That being said, I’ve also talked about doing a series of body types (because there are far more than the ones I used, I just picked the four most common) that would include other races, genders, etc. But at the same time, I feel the only thing that would come out of it would be lots more people sending me even MORE hate mail because I missed something they wanted to see represented. So yes, it’s on the burner for future projects, but the backlash on such a simple cartoon that was only drawn to say “hey, here are some body types” wore me out a little so I’ll probably wait a little before I revisit the idea.
