i think i’m going to make a series of free zines that are like teasers for Vitriol while I’m drawing it to get people interested/if they are interested keep them fed… and they will be like cute packages of y generation shit like patches and buttons and stickers and yoyos or something. because getting things in the mail is really fun for me and i think other people like it too.

and it will have drawings and notes and illustrations and sample pages and worldbuilding stuff (I have so much world building stuff omfg) and little essays about some of the subject matter and anecdotes and autobiogrpahical comics i make that i wouldn’t publish on the internet…and whatever else i think of. and they will be really fat and substantial but ~*f r e e*~

i’ve had some asks of people wanting to see all my tattoos… mang, i don’t even know how many tattoos i have, i’m not going to take separate pictures of all of them. but here’s my favorite, it’s a stick and poke done in red india ink by my friend dale while we were running his brother’s store… probably during business hours. peoples’ reactions to it are just golden. i love it.
the “adam (‘bomb’ on other hand)” is from when i met adam and he said he wanted to tattoo his name on a bunch of people for his birthday. i said he could tattoo his name on me. i really wanted to cement myself in my ideals by ruining my hands. i also wanted some random person’s name tattooed on me in their handwriting (originally it was going to be my friend dammer). it’s purely coincidence that adam is no longer a random person. the original intent behind getting it will stand strong years after we stop knowing each other.
i started writing this like…article defending scratch culture for people who legit love the look of really janky tattoos like i do… but i think it’s too small of a minority so that will stay drafted forever.
